Jaeyoung designs environments where humans, animals, plants, and ecosystems can thrive together. By connecting human–nature interaction, environmental psychology, and design, he explores new relationships with nature through playful and creative approaches, bridging research and practice to foster coexistence.
Expertise
Jaeyoung works across Product-Service System Design, UX Design, and Human-Nature Interaction Design covering the full design process from research and planning to implementation. He explores users and contexts through surveys, field research, interviews, site analysis, and ethnography, facilitates co-design workshops, and translates insights into tangible solutions through 3D modeling, prototyping, and graphic design.
Achievements
Jaeyoung’s achievements include 5 peer-reviewed journal papers (1 SCI-indexed and 2 Scopus-indexed), 2 conference proceedings papers, and 7 design awards, including 4 international design awards.
